New Website Helps Newfoundlanders & Labradorians Rethink Waste

The Multi-Materials Stewardship Board (MMSB) is launching RethinkWasteNL.ca, a new website that offers Newfoundlanders and Labradorians easy access to information on everything they need to know about managing waste in each region of the province. With the launch of RethinkWasteNL.ca, residents and businesses can now visit one website to search reuse, recycling and safe disposal options for a range of waste types from household items and scrap metal to hazardous waste and garbage.

In 2009, NorPen expanded it's boundaries beyond waste management to include fire protection services.

The provincial government granted approval to NorPen to operate the Straits Volunteer Regional Fire Department which was facilitated by a $232,000 investment.

NorPen is very pleased to be given the opportunity to provide an effective fire service program to residents of Anchor Point to Eddies Cove East.
