Christmas/New Year's Landfill Site Schedule 2017-18

All landfill sites will close at 12:00 PM on Saturday, Dec. 23 and reopen on Wednesday, Dec. 27 at 8 AM.

Used Tires

On April 1, 2002, government regulations for the Used Tire Recycling Program placed a ban on the disposal of used tires in municipal waste disposal sites in Newfoundland and Labrador.

Residents have been provided with a return-to-retailer service for the proper disposal of used passenger and light truck tires, as well as commercial truck tires used on heavy trucks, buses and large recreational vehicles.
